The festival will take place between the Air & Space Museum and The National Gallery of Art, bordering 4th St. and 7th St., NW - on the middle grass area. It's three blocks of space. There will be music, speakers, kids programs, youth outreach and more all day long.

FreedomFest|DC happens from 12:00 pm to 8:45 pm. There will be a special volunteer worship and prayer time from 12:00 pm at the main stage to open the day. All are welcome!

GETTING TO THE MALL ON JULY 4TH

~ Save yourself some hassle and take Metro.

~ NEWS UPDATE 7/2: The Park Service has just announced that the Smithsonian Metro stop on the Orange Line will now be open on the 4th.

~ Other Metro stops that are close are Federal Center SW on the Orange or Blue Line and L'Enfant Plaza on the Yellow or Green Line - and walk just a couple of blocks to the Mall area.
