2009 FREEDOMFEST|DC BANDS, SINGERS AND MUSICIANS

Check back the week of June 29th for a final band schedule for the day.

A special worship time begins at 12:00 noon at the main stage. The event and main bands begin at 1:00 pm and continue right up to 8:45 pm. The fireworks begin at 9:10 pm.

12:00 noon ~ FreedomFest|DC Worship Band

* You're invited to a special worship and prayer time for all of the volunteers and anyone who wants to come before we kick off the event at 1:00 pm. We'll be gathering at the main stage area.

12:40 pm ~ The main stage music program begins with Northbound, a local band from Montgomery County, MD.

Bands, singers and musicians from the DC Metro area will be on the main stage all day long from 1:00 pm - 8:45 pm.

GETTING TO THE MALL ON JULY 4TH

~ Save yourself some hassle and take Metro.

~ NEWS UPDATE 7/2: The Park Service has just announced that the Smithsonian Metro stop on the Orange Line will now be open on the 4th.

~ Other Metro stops that are close are Federal Center SW on the Orange or Blue Line and L'Enfant Plaza on the Yellow or Green Line - and walk just a couple of blocks to the Mall area.
